FAQ
Is MDF suitable for exterior use?
MDF is fundamentally not very suitable for outdoor use. The material is not very durable and can be susceptible to moisture. However, there are special variants that are harder pressed, making them more resistant to moisture. If MDF is nevertheless used outdoors, it should be properly finished with a waterproof lacquer or stain.
