In this DIY project, Hans shows how he expertly made a large floating TV cabinet. To start his project immediately, he ordered black MDF in a thickness of 25mm from us. The result is impressive!

A floating TV unit that continues into a corner sofa.

How I made this project

We first made a drawing of the entire structure, accurate to the nearest mm. Then we ordered the planks from this online sawmill. Started on the skeleton and luckily the wall was straight. Then all the shelves were mounted level and then the cabinet doors were milled with hinges and gas springs installed. I had printed a mold for this on the 3D printer. Finally the worktop was installed and door catches for the flaps. There will be a round table in the corner sofa with two chairs.
