A fun, playful custom cabinet designed and built by Wouter himself, made of various thicknesses of MDF blank. The beautiful color blue completes the cupboard completely.

I made a wall cupboard that fits exactly in a niche in my house. with a height of 2.60 meters and a width of 2.10 meters.

How I made this project

First of course I measured everything carefully
Keep in mind that you need a bit of space to open the cupboard door.
I put the cupboard itself together with dowels and wood glue. I used dowel centering points. This makes everything look nice and straight.
I also built the cupboard in two parts, the bottom and top piece.
Before you paint the cupboard, it is smart to cut the end edges of the wood with wood glue so that you get a nice smooth front and that all your paint is not absorbed by the wood.
Keep in mind that the material is heavy, so you may need a few hands when placing the top of the cabinet.
