In this DIY project, Michel shows how he went about making a box for souvenirs. Because the cabinet will be placed between two windows, it is super convenient that he can make the cabinet completely to size. Description of Michel

Collection box for souvenirs such as thimbles from different countries, which were purchased by us on the trips we made (America , Japan, Thailand and many other European countries) and small mementos of different occasions. The cabinet was custom made to be mounted between the 2 windows. The cabinet was made from 9 mm MDF that had already been pretreated, so that it could then be painted in the desired color. We opt not to paint it for the time being, because we think the white and beige are a good combination.

How I made this project

Consisting of:

head piece and bottom piece 2 pieces 41.5 cm x 7.0 cm
sides 2 pieces 135.0 cm x 7.0 cm
shelves 19 pieces 39.7 cm x 6.0 cm
back wall 1 piece 136.8 cm x 41.5 cm

Head piece and bottom piece were screwed to the side walls, 1 shelf was placed in the middle also screwed to ensure the strength of the side walls. The other shelves are on supports that can be placed at different distances so that the distances between the shelves can be changed if necessary
