Custom cabinet wall with LED lighting, by Xander

We had a custom cabinet wall made via TOSIZE.fi and we installed LED lighting in it ourselves. For the LED lighting we used LED stair lighting for 15 steps. Used two boxes of this. This was sufficient to illuminate all open compartments of the cabinet. The light is controlled using the Hue app. We have not yet installed permanent lighting in the closed compartments. Maybe we will make separate lights in there.

How I made this project

We first completely rebuilt the cabinet to see where and how we should put the LED lighting in it. . Then the cabinet was dismantled again, holes were made for the lighting cables and rebuilt with the LED lighting installed straight away. Then painted the cabinet. We no longer had to prime it and were able to paint it straight away. We painted everything in two coats with light sanding in between.
