IKEA table like new again with solid oak, by Herma

Our coffee table from Ikea is very old, and the glass top had become quite unattractive. We ordered an oak panel from TOSIZE.fi with the same dimensions as the glass top. We removed the glass top and placed the oak panel on top. The result is fantastic.

Replacing the Tabletop with Oak

The table was measured precisely. Then we searched for the right material online, which led us to custom cutting. We looked at different types of wood and chose an oak panel A/B, which best suits our interior. We ordered it and then picked it up in Veenendaal, where it was neatly prepared. The panel was sanded and treated with a clear, matte finish, left to dry, the glass top was removed from the table's base, and the wooden top was placed on. Our table looks more beautiful than ever.
