Description of Stefanie

A round wall lamp in the same colour as the wall where the light comes from behind the circle giving a very atmospheric result! Lamp can be switched on and off with a switch and is therefore wireless, which benefits the wall. Circle can easily be removed from the wall to replace batteries or paint in a new colour. The brightness of the light is easy to adjust. A truly special mood creator!

How I made this project

Ordered a circle of wood from TOSIZE.fi a 1m diameter and 12 mm thick. Mounted PVC strip with hot glue on the back with a diameter of about 95 cm. And left a small opening at the back for the switch. LED lights fixed against pvc strip. Multiple layers of painter's tape over it for correct lightness and colour. Rear suspension system made of two slats of 60 cm long and 33 mm thick/deep and 1 slat of 40 cm long and 27 mm thick/deep, it sticks behind the slot thumbs (65x7.5 mm) due to the small space (33 mm-27 mm=6 mm) left between the circle and the middle slat. Circle painted in the desired colour (same as the wall in this case) and hang , put on and enjoy!
