TV cabinet from OSB, just like Xander

Xander designed his own TV cabinet perfectly tailored to store all his belongings. Everything fits just right! Convenient, isn't it?! He opted for OSB 3 sheet material and had the material cut to size. With the delivered boards, he could immediately start assembling his OSB 3 TV cabinet.

Based on his design, he determined the dimensions of the required sheet material and easily input them during the ordering process on our website. He finished the TV cabinet with modern black hairpin legs.

OSB 3 allows for creating various pieces of furniture. It's a structural board and therefore suitable for many applications. Xander not only made a TV cabinet but also a custom wine rack. Together, the TV cabinet and wine rack form a beautiful ensemble, enhancing the interior with the warm wood color of OSB 3.

What is OSB 3 exactly?

OSB is made from compressed wood flakes and belongs to the family of fiberboards, just like MDF and particle board. OSB uses the coarsest wood flakes, all aligned in the same direction and then pressed together. An OSB board typically consists of 3 layers, with the inner layer laid crosswise to the outer two layers. This makes the board very strong. Making an OSB board produces almost no waste. The wood flakes are essentially a recycled product from the start. Due to the relatively coarse flakes, OSB also contains less glue compared to particle board or MDF, making it even more of a natural product than the other two fiberboards.
