Two custom cabinets in oak quarters next to a cinewall, by Simon

In addition to an existing cinewall for television and fireplace, Simon has designed two custom cabinets himself. The whole is a sleek and beautiful wall. Sufficient storage space has been created and by opting for push-to-open doors there is also the option to store items out of sight. The oak black quarters have a beautiful and luxurious appearance.

How I made this project

We first made a number of sketches and played with the sizes and shapes until we got the desired result, then we drew the sketch to scale. We asked a number of questions via chat and received answers, after which we ordered our cabinets via the website. After the customer service check, we received a final drawing that we approved. A few weeks later we received the ordered parts and the two of us simply put them together. The cabinets were very simple, we could easily slide the shelves. Only at the end we attached screws in the corners to strengthen the cabinets.
